DC Animated Movie Universe Wiki

Kal-El is the last-born survivor of the planet, Krypton. When his parents, Jor-El and Laralearned that Krypton was doomed to be destroyed, they sent a baby Kal-El away in a rocket, aimed towards Earth, where they knew their son would be strong under the yellow sun. The rocket landed in Kansas, where Kal-El was discovered and adopted by Jonathan and Martha Kent, and given the name of Clark Kent. After he got a job as a reporter at the Daily Planet newspaper, he became the superhero known as Superman, and one of the founding members of the Justice League, fighting a never-ending battle for truth and justice.

Early Life[]

Kal-El was the son of Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van, who placed him inside a homemade spaceship towards Earth, just moments before Krypton exploded. The ship landed in the American countryside, near the small town of Smallville, Kansas. There, he was found and adopted by farmers Jonathan and Martha Kent, giving him the name, Clark Kent. Clark displayed various superhuman abilities from the start as a young boy, such as incredible strength and impervious skin. His foster parents advised him to use his abilities for the benefit of humanity, and he decided to fight crime as a vigilante. To protect his privacy, he changed into a colorful costume and used the alias "Superman", when fighting crime. After that, he moved to Metropolis and started to work as an investigative reporter for the local Daily Planet newspaper. Sometimes, he shared a byline with fellow reporter Lois Lane, who nicknamed him "Smallville".

Flash Museum Break-In[]

Superman arrived at the Flash Museum with the Justice League. Batman spotted the bombs attached to the villains and recognized that they would be hard to disarm. Green Lantern took Batman and Mirror Master to the lower atmosphere to disarm the bomb on Mirror Master's belt. After the League disarmed all of the bombs, the villains were taken to prison. Batman tried to convince the Flash to ignore Professor Zoom's taunts but failed. The Flash went on to accidentally create the Flashpoint timeline, erasing Superman and the world before Flashpoint.

It is unknown what happened to Superman or the rest of the former world after the Flash time traveled.
