The Bat-family were the guardians and protectors of Gotham City. All members of the bat-family, whose all status are unknown, are deceased due to the Apokolips War event.

History[]
After Batman's capture by Talia al Ghul's League of Assassins, Dick Grayson has formed an alliance of his new group, "The Bat-Family." Nightwing takes his places as Batman (temporarily) for his rescue mission along with Robin II, Batwoman, and Batwing from the League of Assassins. After rescuing Bruce Wayne, Batwing discovered Talia's evil plans to control the world from the hard drive by his father Lucius Fox and showed it to Nightwing and the others (sans Bruce/Batman, as he was in fact mind-controlled by Talia at the time). After the death of Talia al Ghul, the Bat-Signal is seen on to contact the Bat-Family led by their new leader Batman. Before the Bat-Family pursue Penguin for his bank robbery, a new member of the Bat-Family has joined, Batgirl.
After this, Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Robin are seen in various places; however, the Bat-Family never regrouped after that. Catwoman unofficially joined the family as well. Batwoman and Batwing are never seen until Apokolips War, where they, as well as Nightwing and Batgirl (and countless other heroes and villians outside of the Bat-Family), die in battle against Darkseid's unimaginably powerful Paradooms. Batman and Robin, however, survives but a flashpoint had to be made byFlash, leaving their fates unknown.
