In the comics, Godfrey is usually a New God and member of Darkseid's elite, known as Glorious Godfrey on Apokolips. However, in the continuity of the DCAMU it is unknown if this was the case as Godfrey did not appear beside Darkseid or on Apokolips in any of the films.
